Ayurveda + Yoga Nidra: Your Winter Wellness Guide with Marc Holzman

Ayurveda is India’s 5000-year-old medical system that uses natural and holistic approaches to keeping your mind, body and spirit healthy.

During the autumn/winter months (a.k.a. Vata Season), we are more susceptible to feeling ungrounded and restless. Even our immune systems can take a hit. 

In this workshop we will explore a collection of important seasonal habits and the practice of Yoga Nidra to enhance digestion, sleep, and immunity through a stable routine.  When prioritized, these practices will help you maintain a healthy and balanced body and mind as we transition into winter.

  • Marma point massage for better sleep 

  • Foundations and practice of Yoga Nidra 

Following our lecture, there will be a short asana practice + 30 minute Yoga Nidra.

Marc is a certified Ayurveda practitioner and Yoga Nidra teacher with over 20 years’ experience teaching Hatha Yoga and Meditation. He currently lives in both NJ and Paris for greater access to the teacher trainings and retreats he teaches across the globe.
