In this workshop we will explore a collection of important seasonal habits and the practice of Yoga Nidra to enhance digestion, sleep, and immunity through a stable routine.
Learn about the history of Sanskrit and the basic fundamentals of the Sanskrit language. Sanskrit is the ancient language of Yoga and by wanting to understand and learn the language, we honor the tradition we practice in. You’ll learn how to chant biji mantras, like the alphabet, and Shakti mantras, like the Gayatri. You'll leave with a deeper appreciation for the language and will feel more confident in your Sanskrit pronunciations.
Strategies to increase strength, extensibility and mobility of the shoulders.
We will do release techniques, lengthening (both static and dynamic) and activation techniques to increase the strength and mobility of the shoulder joint.

This is a continuation of the Qigong Foundations workshop. Each part is 2 hours and you can take one or both — they are not dependent on each other.
This is an exploration and inquiry into the body’s innate intelligence through Qigong movements.
The intention for this workshop is to establish a solid foundation and basic understanding of this ancient movement and healing art, so you can seamlessly incorporate it into your life.
Qigong is known to help improve somatic intelligence, create a more balanced and resilient nervous system and improve coordination, circulation and vitality. Discovering qi can enhance your already established movement practice or inspire a new passion for body awareness and energy cultivation.

As we enter into the summer months, the solstice is an excellent time to set refreshed intentions for the seasons to come.
We’ll start by gathering in a circle and set intentions for the practice. We’ll build a strong flow that will help us connect deeply with our body, mind, and spirit. As we move together absorbed in our breath, you’ll feel the support of the group energy carrying you forward with meditative momentum.
This powerful experience will leave you feeling rejuvenated, strong, focused, and ready to embrace the seasons to come. We’ll have a short break half way through and end with a long Savasana.
Yoga experienced recommended; modifications will be given. Please note, you’re not required to do all 108 salutations to participate.

Come spend the Summer Solstice in the healing, medicinal gardens at Rodale Institute and enjoy learning about the wonder of herbalism.
We will gather under the shaded Pavilion in the heart of the garden and begin our time sharing wisdom and sipping herbal tea infusions made from the plants growing around us. Our tour through the intimate garden will include the medicinal properties of plants such as Calendula, Yarrow, Lemon Balm, St. John’s Wort, Comfrey, Holy Basil, and more!
Following the tour, we will demonstrate how to make a medicinal topical infused oil with St. John’s Wort flowers and Comfrey harvested from the garden. We hope that you will feel inspired to continue incorporating these herbal allies into your own garden and life!
Afterwards, we invite you to join us for a celebratory & ceremonial bonfire in honor of the Summer Solstice. We will discuss the importance of honoring the Solstices & Equinoxes across cultures & how that is tied into agricultural cycles of seeding, tending, & harvesting.
Bring your own blanket so we can all sit together! Space is limited to 50 participants, so please register below to save your spot.
