Qigong Foundations Workshop: Part 2 with Julian DeVoe

Qigong Foundations Workshop: Part 2

This is a continuation of the Qigong Foundations workshop. Each part is 2 hours and you can take one or both — they are not dependent on each other.

This is an exploration and inquiry into the body’s innate intelligence through Qigong movements.

The intention for this workshop is to establish a solid foundation and basic understanding of this ancient movement and healing art, so you can seamlessly incorporate it into your life.

Qigong is known to help improve somatic intelligence, create a more balanced and resilient nervous system and improve coordination, circulation and vitality. Discovering qi can enhance your already established movement practice or inspire a new passion for body awareness and energy cultivation.

The benefits of qigong are vast, well documented and accessible for all ages and body shapes.

Research shows improvements with blood pressure, heart function, sexual hormones, hypertension and fibromyalgia. Qigong is known to help induce the relaxation response, which contributes to deeper rest and recovery.

Our overall goal is to access and illuminate the core competencies of human motion, increase
mobility and become more agile.
