This workshop addresses the science and the practice of creating a trauma-informed yoga class. It examines the impact of trauma on the brain, body, and social-emotional development so that you can identify symptoms of trauma and understand the ways in which yoga can best be utilized as a tool for promoting resiliency and growth. Through lecture, self-inquiry, discussion, and practice, this workshop will address both the how and the why of creating a trauma-informed yoga class.
